Noticeboard FAQs
Which surface is best for Velcro?
Loop Nylon is the best surface for Velcro coins and hook-and-loop accessories. Standard felt accepts pins perfectly but isn't designed for Velcro adhesion. Cork is strictly for pins only.
Do I need a fire rated board?
If the board is being installed in a corridor, stairwell, or fire escape route, yes. UK Building Regulations require these areas to use Class B fire-rated materials to prevent the spread of flame.
How are they mounted?
Most framed boards use a corner fixing system. Screws are driven through the corners into the wall, and a plastic cap is popped over the top to hide the screw head, providing a neat, secure finish.
Can I get custom sizes?
Yes. Because we manufacture in the UK, we can produce bespoke sizes for large orders. If you have a specific space to fill, please contact our sales team for a quote.
