At Cobolt Furniture, we are committed to providing high-quality office solutions. We understand that sometimes plans change. Please review our policy below regarding returns, cancellations, and bespoke orders.

Approval Required

Do not return any items physically without express prior approval. All returns must be notified to our team and authorized before you send them back. Unauthorised returns may be refused.

1. Consumer Returns (Personal Use)

For individuals purchasing furniture for personal, non-business use.

If you are a consumer, you have a statutory right to change your mind within a 30-day return window starting from the day you receive your full order. However, strict exceptions apply.

Important Exception:
Please note that bespoke, made-to-order, and personalized items are NON-RETURNABLE. The statutory right to cancel or return does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised.
  • Notification: You must notify us in writing within 30 days if you wish to return a standard stock item.
  • Condition: Items must be returned in original, resaleable condition. This means they must be unused, unassembled, and in their original packaging.
  • Deductions: We reserve the right to reduce your refund amount if the value of the goods has been diminished by handling (e.g., if parts are missing, the box is damaged, or there are signs of assembly).

2. Business Returns (B2B)

For companies, traders, and organizations.

We understand businesses operate on tight schedules. Our returns process for commercial clients is designed to be efficient.

  • Refunds: To qualify for a refund, you must notify Cobolt Furniture within 7 days of delivery.
  • Credit Notes: Notification received after 7 days may result in a credit note rather than a refund, at our sole discretion.
  • Fees: Business returns are subject to a restocking and collection fee. Please contact us for a quote based on the size and volume of your order.
  • Condition: Goods must be unused, unassembled, and in original packaging.

3. Bespoke & Made-to-Order Items

Many of our premium furniture pieces are manufactured specifically to your specifications (e.g., specific fabrics, colors, or sizes).

  • Non-Returnable: As stated above, bespoke and made-to-order items cannot be returned unless they are faulty or not as described.
  • Cancellations: You have a strict 24-hour cooling-off period after placing your order to request a cancellation.
    • After 24 Hours: If manufacture has not begun, we may consider cancellation subject to a fee.
    • After Dispatch: Once a bespoke item has left our warehouse, it cannot be cancelled or returned.

4. How to Request a Return (Step-by-Step)

To ensure your refund is processed smoothly, please follow this strict process. Failure to follow these steps may result in your return being rejected.

Step 1: Seek Approval

Email our support team to request a return authorization.

You MUST include the following details:

  • Your Full Name
  • Contact Telephone Number
  • Your Order Number (This will begin with #CF, e.g., #CF1234)

Step 2: Preparing the Package

Once you have received approval and our returns guidelines, you must prepare the item strictly as follows:

  • DO NOT write on the packaging / cardboard box.
  • DO NOT add any paperwork inside the packaging.

Please attach labels externally as instructed in the guidelines we send you. The item must be in its original box and in perfect condition.

Collection: We can arrange a courier collection for your convenience. You must be present at the agreed time. Missed collections may incur a failed pickup charge. Alternatively, you may arrange your own return shipping, but liability for the goods remains with you until they reach our warehouse.

5. Processing & Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected at our warehouse:

  • We will process your refund or credit note within 10 working days.
  • Any applicable collection or restocking fees will be deducted from the final amount.
  • If items are found to be damaged, used, or if the packaging has been defaced (written on), we reserve the right to refuse the return or make further deductions.
