We know that ordering furniture is only half the job—getting it to you safely and on time is just as important. Here is everything you need to know about how we get your order from our warehouse to your door.
Yes, Delivery is FREE.
We believe the price you see should be the price you pay. That is why we offer Free Standard Delivery on all items to UK Mainland addresses.
Transparency on Lead Times
We want to help you plan your project effectively. That is why we display accurate lead times in two convenient places:
- On the Delivery Tab of every product page.
- Within the Checkout before you finalize your payment.
Need it Faster? Many items are available for Next Day delivery. If you have an urgent deadline and don't see a Next Day option at checkout, please call our Sales team. We will do everything we can to help.
The Gold Delivery Service
For the ultimate convenience, select items are available for our premium Gold Delivery Service. "What does this mean?" we hear you ask.
This means we handle everything for you:
- Scheduled Delivery: We organize delivery to your chosen location on a day and time suitable to your busy schedule.
- Full Installation: We go the extra mile to install your furniture exactly where you want it.
- Debris Removal: We take all packaging away with us, leaving your office clean and ready to work.
- Expert Advice: We offer suggestions for the best upkeep to maintain that product to its best for you.

Where we deliver
We deliver to the whole of the UK. While delivery is free for the standard UK Mainland, reaching more remote locations requires a little extra planning.
This includes: Scottish Highlands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, and other offshore locations.
For these areas, a small shipping surcharge usually applies. Please contact us before placing your order so we can check availability and quote this for you.
Shipping to Northern Ireland is currently under review for certain products due to logistics regulations.
Please contact us before ordering. If you place an order, we will review it manually and contact you to confirm if we can ship and if any charges apply.
Heavy Goods Delivery (Pallet Service)
Some of our larger, robust items are marked with a "Heavy Goods" label on their product page. To ensure these arrive safely, we use a specialized Pallet Network Carrier.
Timing & Scheduling
Standard: 3-5 Working Days.
Next Day: Available on request (case-by-case basis). Please call 01279 972616 for a quote.
We need your number: The carrier will call you to book a convenient delivery day (8am - 6pm), so please provide a valid phone number.
Kerbside Delivery
The driver will use a tail lift to lower the pallet safely to the kerbside. Please note: The driver cannot bring the goods inside your building. You will need to have the means to move the items from the kerbside into your premises.
The Pallet: Our driver will try to remove the item from the wooden pallet where possible. However, if this isn't feasible, the pallet will be left with you for disposal.
Receiving Your Goods
Signatures are Essential
To ensure security and peace of mind, all goods must be signed for. We cannot leave items unattended or in a safe place.
Delivery Window & Redelivery
Deliveries take place Monday to Friday, between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Please ensure someone is available at the address to receive the goods.
Please Note: If a delivery fails because no one is available to sign, the courier will charge for a redelivery. We want to help you avoid this extra cost, so please double-check your availability!
We've Got Your Back (Damages Policy)
We pack everything with care, but we know that sometimes the road can be bumpy. If your item arrives less than perfect, please do not worry. We will sort it out.
What to do:
- Snap a photo of the damage (this helps us enormously).
- Email it immediately to help@coboltfurniture.co.uk.
- We will handle the rest and arrange a replacement or solution as a priority.
