Q: Is this board waterproof?
A: No, it is for indoor use. While robust, it is not sealed against driving rain. It is ideal for indoor corridors, reception areas, and lobbies. For outdoor use, select our "External" range.
Q: Why are there two doors?
A: For structural safety. A single door spanning 2.4 metres would be structurally unstable. The twin-door design ensures the unit remains rigid, safe, and easy to operate.
Q: How many A4 sheets does it hold?
A: Approx 24 x A4 sheets. You can typically fit 4 rows of 6 sheets (across both doors), providing massive capacity for corporate information.
Q: Why choose the Grey version?
A: Grey is the modern standard. It creates a sleek, professional backdrop that is preferred in architects' studios, new-build apartments, and corporate headquarters.
Q: Is the door glass?
A: No, it is shatterproof PET. We use a tough clear plastic that will not shatter into dangerous shards if hit, making it safe for busy public waiting areas.
Q: How many keys are provided?
A: Keys are provided for both locks. You will receive a set for each door, allowing for secure management of the contents.
Q: How is it installed?
A: Through internal fixing points. You open the doors to access the screw holes. We recommend two people for installation due to the weight and size.
Q: Can I replace the felt if it gets damaged?
A: No, the felt is bonded. The felt surface is bonded to the core during manufacturing for durability. It is not designed to be replaced, but it is hard-wearing and resists wear.
