Q: Do I need a desk this big?
A: If you regularly use three monitors, large format printers, or need to review A3/A2 documents, the 1600mm width is highly recommended. It prevents the workspace from becoming cramped and improves productivity.
Q: Will it sag in the middle over time?
A: No. We use a high-density 25mm thick desktop combined with a robust welded steel frame. This design is specifically engineered to bridge the 1.6m span without bowing, unlike cheaper 18mm desks.
Q: Can I fit storage underneath?
A: Yes, easily. The 1600mm width allows you to fit a mobile pedestal (or even two) underneath while still leaving generous legroom for the user to move freely.
Q: Does it have cable management?
A: Yes. It features two cable access ports in the rear corners. This is crucial for executive setups with multiple devices, allowing you to route cables cleanly to the floor.
Q: What does the warranty cover?
A: The warranty covers manufacturing defects in the steel frame and the melamine desktop for a full 10 years, guaranteeing the structural integrity of your furniture.
Q: How robust is the finish?
A: The desktop is made from commercial-grade melamine which is heat and scratch resistant. The edges are protected by 2mm ABS banding, which prevents the peeling often seen on lower quality products.
Q: Is delivery included?
A: Yes, Free UK Mainland Delivery is included. We use dedicated furniture couriers to ensure the large 1.6m panels arrive safely and ready for assembly.
