Expert Advice for Framed Noticeboards
Q: Is this board fire resistant?
A: No, this is a standard board. It is not Class B rated. For fire exit corridors and stairwells, you must select from our "Fire Resistant" range. This board is suitable for offices and meeting rooms.
Q: What are the dimensions in feet?
A: It is approximately 4ft x 3ft. The exact metric dimensions are 1200mm (width) x 900mm (height), or vice versa.
Q: Why choose the Grey version?
A: Grey is modern and neutral. It is the preferred choice for architects and designers as it blends with modern office furniture and doesn't clash with corporate branding.
Q: How is it installed?
A: Via corner fixings. The board comes with a kit. You screw through the four plastic corners into the wall, then clip on the provided caps to hide the screws.
Q: Can I mount it portrait?
A: Yes, absolutely. The fixings are symmetrical, so you can install it as 900mm wide x 1200mm high if you are placing it between windows or on a pillar.
Q: Does the frame have sharp edges?
A: No. The corners are protected by smooth, moulded plastic caps, which cover the aluminium joints and prevent injury, making it safe for busy areas.
Q: What pins should I use?
A: Standard push pins. The fibreboard core is designed to grip standard office pins securely.
Q: Are wall fixings included?
A: Yes. We include a standard screw and plug kit suitable for most solid walls.
