Product Overview: 1200x600mm High-Performance Trespa® Lab Station
Invest in a workstation that defies the most demanding laboratory conditions. By pairing a reinforced H-frame steel skeleton with a genuine Trespa® worktop, this table provides an incredibly durable, clinical-grade platform that maintains its integrity against chemical spills, scratching, and intense daily usage.
The Cobolt Advantage
- Elite Chemical Resistance: The 16mm Trespa® surface is specifically engineered for advanced science labs. Its non-porous structure is inherently resistant to a wide array of aggressive chemicals and cleaning agents, making it the safest choice for secondary and university chemistry.
- Reinforced H-Frame Support: Our lab tables utilise a fused 'H-frame' geometry rather than standard legs. This structural cross-bar provides the absolute stability necessary for sensitive weighing equipment and high-heat experiments, eliminating lateral sway entirely.
- Impact-Resistant Trespa® Edging: Every unit is finished with matching Trespa® edges. This provides a monolithic, ultra-tough border that cannot be picked or peeled and easily survives accidental collisions with heavy laboratory equipment.
Organisation & Sustainability
- Professional Aesthetics: Select from 5 specialist speckled and solid finishes designed for clinical environments. These neutral, professional tones are ideal for modernising science faculties and creating a focused academic atmosphere.
- Longevity-Driven Sourcing: Trespa® is one of the most durable materials in the world. By investing in furniture with such an extended service life, your school reduces the frequency of replacements, supporting long-term sustainability goals.
- Recyclable Circular Build: Designed with future stewardship in mind, this table can be completely disassembled into its core metal and wood components for responsible processing by specialist recyclers at the end of its life.
The Cobolt Standard
- Complimentary UK Freight: We eliminate hidden costs. Every specialist lab table includes Free Mainland UK Delivery, ensuring your departmental budget is allocated to high-performance equipment rather than carriage fees.
- 50 Years of Mastery: We leverage half a century of B2B manufacturing expertise to create laboratory furniture that genuinely thrives under the chemical, thermal, and physical stresses of the British education system.
- BS EN 1729 Compliant: Rigorously tested for structural integrity and ergonomic accuracy, ensuring a safe, professional, and certified environment for both staff and students.
Ideal Environments for the Trespa® Laboratory Table
With its supreme chemical resilience and high-standing profile, this table is the definitive solution for Advanced Chemistry Laboratories, Higher Education Research Hubs, and Medical Training Studios. Its unshakeable welded frame is also ideal for supporting heavy industrial machinery in STEM Workshops.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Why is Trespa® better than standard laminate for science labs?
A: Trespa® is a solid, non-porous material designed specifically for laboratories. Unlike standard laminate, it has extreme resistance to aggressive chemicals, heat, and moisture, making it virtually indestructible in a chemistry environment.
2. Do these lab tables require assembly?
A: No. We ship these tables 100% fully assembled. Because the frames are fully welded, they are ready for use the moment they arrive at your science department.
3. What is an "H-Frame" and why is it used?
A: An H-frame features a structural cross-bar connecting the legs. This design provides maximum rigidity and eliminates lateral sway, which is essential when students are working with heat sources or delicate experiments.
4. Is the Trespa® edge picked or peeled easily?
A: No. The Trespa® edging is incredibly tough and impact-resistant. Unlike standard PVC edging, it is integrated into the high-performance design to be tamper-proof and watertight.
5. Which height is best for laboratory stool seating?
A: For standard secondary school lab stools, the 850mm or 900mm heights are the most common industry standard. For standing work, 950mm or 1000mm heights are recommended.
6. Are the tables sustainable?
A: Yes. The unit is designed for a decades-long lifespan, and at the end of its service life, the steel and wood components can be disassembled and responsibly recycled.
7. How long is the delivery lead time?
A: As these are built-to-order in the UK, expect a 4-week turnaround. We advise ordering early for the summer holiday break when turnaround times often extend.
8. What exactly does the 5-year warranty cover?
A: Your 5-year commercial guarantee covers all structural failures in the welded steel frame and the integrity of the Trespa® worktop surface.
