A: Typically, the "Authorised Access Only" message is printed on both sides of the webbing, ensuring the warning is visible whether someone is approaching from the front or behind the barrier.
Q: Is the retraction mechanism safe?
A: Yes. The Q-Line unit features an integrated braking system. This ensures the 4.6m belt retracts slowly and safely if unclipped, preventing it from snapping back and causing injury.
Q: Does it come with a wall receiver?
A: Yes. The product includes a plastic wall receiver clip. You mount the main unit on one side of your opening and the receiver on the other to secure the belt end.
Q: Can I use this for wide corridors?
A: Absolutely. With an extended 4.6m reach, this unit is perfect for closing off wide hospital corridors, loading bay entrances, or double doors leading to secure areas.
Q: Is it suitable for outdoors?
A: The ABS casing is durable, but the internal steel spring mechanism is best suited for indoor use or sheltered areas. For exposed outdoor locations, we recommend our weatherproof range to prevent corrosion.

A: Installation is very simple. The unit has fixing holes on the back plate. You just need to screw it into the wall using appropriate fixings for your wall type (e.g., masonry screws or plasterboard plugs).

A: Yes. The belt end features a universal clip that is compatible with most standard retractable barrier posts. You can pull the belt from the wall and clip it onto a portable stanchion if required.
