Expert Advice: The Best Wide Banner Printing
Q: How do I submit my artwork?
A: You must place your order first. Once processed, we will send you a confirmation email containing the correct 1200mm template and full upload instructions. You then reply with your file.
Q: Do you check the artwork before printing?
A: Yes. Our pre-press team manually reviews every file to ensure the resolution is sufficient for this large 1200mm width and that bleed areas are set up correctly, preventing blurry or cut-off images.
Q: Is this banner waterproof?
A: Yes. The 340gsm polypropylene material and the UV inks are fully waterproof. You can wipe the banner clean with a damp cloth if it gets dirty at an event.
Q: Does this include a stand or frame?
A: No. This is a printing service for the graphic panel only. It is designed to replace graphics in existing 1200mm roller banner stands or for use as a wall-mounted poster.
Q: Can I use this for a roller banner stand?
A: Yes. The dimensions (1200mm x 2000mm) are standard for wide roller banners. Please ensure your stand takes this specific width and check if you need extra bleed at the bottom for the cassette leader.
Q: What is the benefit of polypropylene over PVC?
A: Polypropylene has a smoother surface for higher print detail and, crucially, it stays flat. PVC often curls at the edges over time ("curling"), whereas our polypropylene is engineered to hang perfectly straight.
Q: What file types do you accept?
A: We recommend high-resolution PDF, EPS, TIFF, or JPG files. For a banner this wide, we suggest a minimum of 150dpi at full scale to ensure sharp text and images.
Q: Is delivery included?
A: Yes, Free UK Mainland Delivery is included. We package your wide-format print in a rigid tube to ensure it arrives without creases or damage.
