Tamperproof Noticeboards

Tamperproof Noticeboards: Secure & Lockable

Protect your notices, control your message. In busy public areas, keeping information visible and secure is essential. Our range of Tamperproof Noticeboards is designed to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or vandalism of your displayed materials. Featuring robust locks and virtually unbreakable covers, these boards act as a secure window for your community notices, statutory information, or promotional material.

Ideal for school corridors, NHS waiting rooms, and parish councils, these lockable units provide total peace of mind. For sensitive escape routes, many of our models also meet strict fire regulations, complementing our fire resistant noticeboards range. If you need a more traditional open solution, browse our standard framed noticeboards or view our full display equipment collection.

Usage Internal & External Options

Secure Locking

Control access. Each board features integral locks (with key sets provided), ensuring only authorised personnel can update or remove information. Perfect for stopping flyer clutter in communal areas.

Shatterproof Doors

Safety first. Instead of glass, we use high-impact PETG or polycarbonate covers. These are virtually unbreakable, shatter-resistant, and fire-rated, making them the safest choice for schools and busy corridors.

Fire Safe Options

Be compliant. For escape routes and stairwells, choose our Class B fire rated tamperproof models. These are fully tested to BS EN 13501-1, meeting the strict requirements for public buildings.

Weatherproof Exterior

Go outside. Our range includes specifically sealed external noticeboards. With waterproof seals and corrosion-resistant frames, they are perfect for parish notices, churchyards, and school gates.

Vibrant Fabrics

Pin securely. Available in felt, hessian, or loop nylon surfaces in a vast array of colours. These high-density cores hold pins firmly and are self-healing to maintain a neat appearance over time.

Sliding Door Models

Tight spaces. For narrow corridors and walkways where a hinged door might cause an obstruction, our sliding door noticeboards are the perfect solution, keeping routes clear and safe.

Secure Display FAQs

Are tamperproof noticeboards waterproof?

Not all of them. Standard tamperproof boards are for indoor use only. However, we have a dedicated External Noticeboards section featuring waterproof seals and heavy-duty weatherproofing specifically designed for outdoor installation. Please check the product title for "External" or "Weatherproof".

What prevents the glass from breaking?

We do not use glass. Our boards use Polycarbonate or PETG covers. These materials are optically clear like glass but have high impact resistance (virtually shatterproof), making them safe for schools and unsupervised public areas.

Can I get replacement keys?

Yes. We understand keys get lost. Contact our customer service team with your board model number, and we can usually source replacement keys or new lock barrels to restore your security.

Are these suitable for fire escape routes?

For escape routes and corridors, you must select a model that is Fire Rated (Class B). We clearly label these products. Standard tamperproof boards may not be compliant for specific high-risk areas, so please check your Fire Risk Assessment.

Do you offer sliding door options?

Yes. Sliding door tamperproof boards are excellent for narrow hallways where opening a hinged door would block the path or pose a safety hazard. The doors slide smoothly on internal runners behind the frame.
