Noticeboard FAQs
What is the difference between felt and Hessian?
Felt is a smoother, softer fabric available in modern bright colours. Hessian has a coarser, woven texture that hides pin holes extremely well and offers a more natural, traditional aesthetic.
Can I use Velcro on these boards?
Most of our standard felt and loop nylon boards are Velcro-friendly. However, traditional cork boards are not. If you specifically need to use Velcro, look for "Loop Nylon" or check the product specifications to be sure.
How do I mount the board to the wall?
All our wall-mounted boards are supplied with a fixing kit. Standard framed boards usually feature corner fixings that are hidden by plastic caps for a neat finish. They can be mounted in either portrait or landscape orientation.
Do I need a fire resistant board?
If you are installing the board in a corridor, stairwell, or fire escape route, yes, you legally require a Class B Fire Resistant board. For standard offices and classrooms, a standard board is usually sufficient, though fire-retardant options are recommended for best practice.
Can I get a custom size?
